An oldie, but a goodie!

Avery is 3 years old!

Halloween 2010

Halloween is so much fun when the grandkids come by in costumes.

Avery was a ballerina.

Soren was a dinosaur.

We had to skype with Heidi of course!!

Soren loved the computer, or was it Heidi he was after??

Avery helped give away candy to those who came to the door.

Grandpa Ken taught her to say "Trick or treat, smell my feet". Thanks Grandpa...

Summer

Avery and Soren came to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Avery made cake. She planted a stick too.

The 'pool' was open!

It was the perfect size for Soren.

For Avery: Boston's 4th of July Celebration

Filmed from the 13th floor of the new MIT & Google building in Cambridge, MA... looking south across the river at the downtown skyline. Of course this video doesn't do it justice, but still... notice the reflection of the explosions on the glass buildings and the flashes from the cameras of the crowd along the Esplanade below. (Not sure why they all thought using a flash would work out but hey).

I asked mom if Soren could come swim with me...she said no.

Rumor has it mom actually played in this little pool herself!!

Grandpa needed my help on a landscaping project he had going. The only bummer part was I kept getting sand in my shoes!
